Ikarus's Flight
The “Ikarus’s Flight” cycle consists of 17 works, painted in oils on canvas in the direction of lyrical abstraction. The story of Icarus in the song “Ikarus’s Flight” is, to me, an allegory of Kaczmarski’s life — a man who, though he is gone, managed to fulfil my dream. For this cycle I chose the songs closest to my heart.
